Internal Medicine

Outline of clinical department

At this hospital, the department of Internal Medicine is focused on primary care. Treatment only begins after the current condition of the patient is understood. (Blood, urine, stool, and sputum tests, as well as X-rays, electrocardiograms, and ultrasonography are available.)

Cardiology

(4) When your information has been registered, the staff will call you, so please follow their instructions and wait to see the doctor.

Patients with appointments

(1) Take a numbered reception ticket from the machine.
(2) When your number is called, present your reception ticket, Medical Questionnaire, and health insurance card to the receptionist.
(3) When your information has been registered, receive your file from the receptionist and wait near the examination room indicated.

64-slice MSCT (GE Optima CT660) 

Multi-slice CT (MSCT) is an improved version of conventional CT devices that allows for multiple slices to be captured simultaneously, which significantly reduces scanning time. For instance, a scan of the area from the chest to the pelvis takes only around 10 seconds with the patient holding their breath. In addition, as it is possible for this device to create three-dimensional scans that capture fine details, the relative positions of fractures can be determined, which is useful for surgery. Scans that are conducted using contrast agents can capture blood vessels and tumors clearly, providing a vast amount of useful information including their position, size, type, etc.

MRI System (GE 3.0T MRI)

Our hospital currently utilizes the GE 3.0T MRI system, the company’s latest model. This MRI device is not only useful for imaging the head area where the ability to capture thin blood vessels is essential, but is also useful in the field of orthopedics due to its excellent ability to capture the spine and joints. In addition, this device can be used to image blood vessels throughout the body and is a state-of-the-art device capable of scanning various parts of the body. ※The medical costs associated with the use of these devices remain unchanged as their NHI points are the same as before.
